The quotes in the montage pictures are by Robert Louis Stevenson - really good advice on how to be happy over a hundred years ago that still holds true today.

How To Be Happy
by Robert Louis Stevenson (1850 – 1894)

1. Make up your mind to be happy. Learn to find pleasure in simple things.

2. Make the best of your circumstances. No one has everything, and everyone has something of sorrow intermingled with gladness of life. The trick is to make the laughter outweigh the tears.

3. Don't take yourself too seriously. Don't think that somehow you should be protected from misfortune that befalls other people.

4. You can't please everybody. Don't let criticism worry you.

5. Don't let your neighbor set your standards. Be yourself.

6. Do the things you enjoy doing but stay out of debt.

7. Never borrow trouble. Imaginary things are harder to bear than real ones.

8. Since hate poisons the soul, do not cherish jealousy, enmity, grudges. Avoid people who make you unhappy.

9. Have many interests. If you can't travel, read about new places.

10. Don't hold post-mortems. Don't spend your time brooding over sorrows or mistakes. Don't be one who never gets over things.

11. Do what you can for those less fortunate than yourself.

12. Keep busy at something. A busy person never has time to be unhappy.

Hi Joan.
Beautiful Blog, thanks for my new wallpaper. I adored that first image.

If you ask me, I prefer the look of clay in JNat. (That you already know), But I think I'll never see him with that look :(

Your new video is beautiful I love that song. Yesterday I could see it on youtube.

Hi Joan,
A truly awesome blog! There's so much to digest. Thanks a lot :) Talking about hairstyles, I much prefer Clay with the medium or longer hair. As for the Wings of Love montage, Joan, you outdo yourself again. The combination of a wonderful song, adorable pics and wise quotes made it one of the must-haves. Thank you once again for the time, effort and love you put into your blogs for all to enjoy.

Hugs,

Great blog! While I like any of Clay's hairstyles, he looks a bit younger with bangs-and usually only has them with the short hair. Love the video-I left a comment about it on Youtube. Take care and God bless. Love always, Cynthia

Good Morning from the Nation's Capitol where it is going to a balmy 14 celcius today! We are having one of the most warmest November's on record. I could sure live with this weather all winter!

Clay has had so many looks but I have to say the look that I just LOVED on him was the look on the Tyra show. Thought his hairstyle looked fabulous on him that day! Regardless he is a great looking man with any of his looks!

"On The Wings of Love" montage was beautiful!

Have a wonderful week!
