We can't forget the delightful Build Me Up Buttercup from AI2 Neil Sedaka night

When nothing seems to help, I look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet, at the 101st blow it will split in two, and I know that it was not that last blow that did it, but all that had gone before. Jacob Riis

Hi Joan,

What a difference a day makes, :-)

I feel like your blog was just for me, i know it wasn't, but it sure felt like it. Solitaire just gets to me everytime, it's been awhile since i've listened to it, now the tears are streaming down my face.

That's kinda what i mean't in my last comment, i miss his live singing very much. I'll just have to listen or watch live clack ;-)

Your blends are evolving, getting more technical, i like them very much! Thanx for sharing your beautiful creations.

Hope you are well,

Love, Debs x

Clay has the amazing confidence of a Pro right from the start. And already a stunning specimen back then. Thank you for a wonderful Solitaire rewind, Joan. Love it!

Ashes,

I love Clay's Greensboro rendition of "Solitaire." In fact, I was there.

The animated photo is a beautiful addition to the excellent camera work that is the nucleus of your lead graphic.

Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

I just listened to Solitaire yesterday, streaming from a radio station in New York. I love that song and all of Clay Aiken's performances of it. I would have loved to see the Neil Sedaka tribute in person. Thanks for the gorgeos pics and you tubes.
