AI2 Rewind this weekend was the final 3. Clay's songs were Vincent, Mack the Knife and Unchained Melody. I loved them all, even Vincent until the judging! I didn't know there was anything missed, just that it was beautiful and the first time I heard it that didn't bore me to tears!

This was amazing and especially so when you think that he ( and the other season 2 contestants ) had no back up singers or live band as they do now . Clay Aiken just knocked it out of the park with a recorded track and THAT voice !

You know there has been no season as good as Season 2 of AI. Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard made it the best year ever. Unchained Melody was so beautiful.

Unchained Melody was one of my favorite songs of AI2. I loved it every time Clay hit the high note--he never seemed to miss it--even in concert. Clay Aiken sings it best!

That was a dirty trick changing up the lyrics to Vincent so close to air time. I thought Clay Aiken did a fine job...too bad the judges had to announce he missed some of the words.

I had not heard that early version of Clay Aiken singing Unchained Melody. It is amazing---he sounds so mature and he was just a teenager at the time. That was already my favorite song--I remember it being poplular when I was in fifth grade. Now, I have several versions of Clay Aiken singing it live and remains one of my favorites.
