Clay Aiken Hear the Music

LTS cover

Clay Aiken's book, Learning to Sing - Hearing the Music in Your Life is one I have to read or listen to the audio version at least once a year. In fact, I was reading it when Clay opened the great thread of Questions for Clay at the Official Fan Club.

LTS is educational, funny, and sad. No matter what the age of the reader, there is something you can relate to. No wonder it debuted at #2 on the New York Times Hardcover Non-fiction best-seller list and stayed on the list for many weeks after. It was republished in paperback form the next year (2005).

April has gone out with a bang with a super week! It started out with Clay "talking" with us at the OFC, answering questions every day and his wonderful blog with the awesome gift of "Just You". Then we got the treat of new photos, and news of Clay to participate in David Foster Concert Celebration on Saturday, May 9 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Congratulations to everyone able to attend!

The Best is Yet to Come!

You mentioned the Q&A thread at the OFC then when I saw the picture of LTS I remembered that Clay was asked about his favorite photo shoot. His answer was the pictures from the cover of LTS. I couldn't remember which picture it was, so thanks for the reminder!

Enjoyed the blog and your graphics as always. I haven't heard POYB for awhile, nice to hear it again.

Morning Ashes!!!

Learning to Sing is one of my favorite books. An amazing insight into a man who has certainly had his share of difficulties in life. There is something for everyone, from child to adult.

Thanks for the gorgeous blends!! Love the new Salon pictures :D

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

I Loved reading Clay Aiken's book, it is an inspiration, this young man could have easily become an unproductive member of society given all the bullying he received as a child, but instead he chose to help the children of the world.

I used Clay's book in my classroom. It was amazing how the kids reacted to the book. It caused much discussion.

Thank you for this beautiful blog. I always enjoy visiting here.

I hope Clay Aiken writes another book. There must be so many stories to tell of what he has been through over the last six years. I think it would be a fascinating read!
